This part of the site is mainly about the professional
Olav Queseth. I am a researcher in the Radio area with a
background in computer science. Currently I work for KTH in a EU project
called Ambient Networks,
mostly with issues related to discovering and accessing networks when a
user arrives in a new environment. I received a Ph.D. in radio systems
from KTH in 2005 and a M.Sc. in computer science from Chalmers in 1995.
I was born in Tromsų in northern Norway late in 1970. However my parents
moved to Sweden in mid 1971, so although I am a Norwegian citizen I'm
mostly Swedish. Today I live in Stockholm with my wife and three
children.
Although many things I do tend to be work related I also have other
interests. I have always enjoyed tinkering with electronic gadgets. I
started soldering when surface mounted technology was quite exotic...
Recently most tinkering has been computer related. I also have a ham
radio license, but it was some time since I actually used it. I enjoy
sailing in the summer time and skiing in the winter time. Have a look around the rest of
queseth.se to find out more about my
leisure interests.
